As a Cyclone Account Manager, you'll be at the heart of building long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. This role is all about empowering our Tamariki by tackling digital inequities and opening up new opportunities for their future. You will work closely with our internal teams, including Administration, Internal Sales, and Service Departments, to enhance customer engagement and connect with key business executives and stakeholders, always keeping positive customer outcomes in mind.
You will manage a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing customers, and actively seek out new sales opportunities. Success in this role means collaborating with our Sales/Services Team to hit targets while ensuring our customers are delighted and fully engaged with our products and services. This position may require occasional travel.

What you will do
This role will focus on delivering on all financial, volume, and account targets. With your proven account management skills, you will develop sound strategies to drive growth and chase new business through exceptional analysis and planning, ensuring the achievement of mutually commercial objectives for both the company and your customers. Your primary responsibilities will also include:
Be able to clearly articulate technology trends and cross-platform technologies with the benefits they bring to all aspects of the associated business.
Proven successful experience to engage customers with the range of technology solutions and services.
To organise and attend promotional opportunities such as customer-focused presentations as appropriate.
Constantly looking to enhance and improve our product and services offerings to the school's market.
To act as a product manager and mentor with Cyclone vendors to promote their products internally with the Customer Engagement Specialists/Advisors to ensure the highest level of responsiveness is delivered to our customers.

Significant experience in the IT or Education sector beneficial.
Self-management- ability to work autonomously while also contributing positively within a team environment.
