Accountant for Accounting Firm
We are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants. Our client, Tax Wealth Accountants, based out of Strathfield (Sydney), NSW is actively looking for an Accountant to join its team on a full-time basis. The business is a boutique accounting firm providing services in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Taxation, SMSF setup and Business setup. They assist their clients in filing tax returns, tax planning, GST returns, STP reporting, etc.
Main Responsibilities of the role are-
• Preparing financial statements including Reporting for various clients
• Preparation of GST returns (BAS)
• Providing financial and taxation advise on business structures, plans and operations.
• Preparing taxation returns for individuals and organizations.
• Assistance in meeting superannuation obligations
• Advice on Tax planning, Negative gearing, Salary packaging
• Assistance in structuring client's business effectively to reduce tax and protect clients' assets.
• Creating the entities such as companies, Trust and SMSF.
• Tax planning for individuals and corporates
• Business Advisory Services - Business Structure, M. I. S, Statutory Compliance, Tax Planning
• Small Business Software and Systems - set up and operational assistance, such as MYOB, Xero and Quick Books.
• Taking care of ATO related requirements
Must Have —
• Bachelor's or higher degree in accounting
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar sized boutique accounting firm
• Preference will be given to Australian Experience
• Exposure to at least one of the accounting software
Skills Needed
• Accounting and business management.
• Good eye for detail and discrepancy.
• IT literate in accounting software and MS office.
• Proven skills in accounting and mathematics.
• Insights into running of small business
Successful candidate will be on an annual salary of $75,000 to $85,000 Plus Superannuation.
