Role Description We are seeking an Accounting Intermediate at Tait Pearce Chartered Accountants, located in Whanganui. The hours for the role are negotiable. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, completing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations for a wide range of clients. You will be involved directly with clients, so good communication skills and being client-focused are imperative. The role will also involve collaboration with our team, so you need to be a team player and have a great sense of humour. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience in a NZ-based CA office Financial Reporting and experience in Tax Preparation and Compliance Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills Attention to Detail and Organizational skills Ability to work independently and within a team Experience with Accounting Software - we are a Xero/APS practice, so experience with at least one of these platforms is necessary Professional certification is not a requirement for this role You will be expected to determine your suitability for this role by reviewing the job description prior to applying.
