The Opportunity We’re looking for a Fixed Term Dairy Farm Assistant to join the high-performing team at Halls Dairy. In this role, you’ll assist with a range of farm tasks — from milking, calving, and feeding stock, to effluent management, spraying, and fencing. You’ll play an important part in the day-to-day operations and work closely with your team to help meet production and animal welfare goals. You’ll receive full training and support, and we’ll encourage you to take the initiative, develop your skills, and support newer team members along the way. This is a fixed-term role, with an anticipated start around 01 July to mid-February 2026. The Farm Halls Dairy is located just 20 minutes from Taupō and is part of Pāmu – a leader in sustainable, high-performing farming. Halls Dairy milks 680 cows across 266 hectares using a modern 54-bail rotary system and prides itself on safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. About You You’ll bring a willingness to learn, get stuck in, and contribute to the team’s success.
