Te Haeata/The Opportunity

Family Court Coordinator's contribute to the operation of the Family Court by coordinating specialist services and playing a key role in managing relationships with management, the judiciary, professional service providers, legal practitioners, court users and community groups. 

This position will be based at the Nelson District Court and will service Courts in the Nelson and Blenheim area.  This is a permanent full-time position of 40 hours per week position.

To be successful in the role you will have the following skills and experiences:


Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Be able to juggle competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Be self-motivated and have high levels of initiative.

Be committed to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Have experience in or knowledge of Family Court procedures and legislation.

Have analytical skills to enable relevant legislation to be interpreted and applied.

Have proficient levels of computer literacy.

A current full NZ drivers' licence.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appointing salary for this role will be between $74,634 and $95,591 based on skills and experience.
