The Dog Daycare Facility Manager will oversee and run the day‐to‐day operations of the dog daycare, ensuring the well‐being of the dogs and managing a team of day shift workers, volunteers, and helpers. The role includes living onsite in a shared house with four bedrooms; you will have your own private room and work closely with volunteers who also live in the house as part of a work‐in‐exchange‐for‐accommodation arrangement. Living Space

Semi‐modern, clean house on a flat‐mate basis with private single rooms or a double room available. You may share your bedroom with dogs at night as part of your duties and may need to stay at the facility during weekends based on a roster. Support and Management

You will receive support from your flatmates (who are part of a work‐in‐exchange‐for‐accommodation arrangement) and will need to manage them to utilise their help effectively. Environment

The accommodation is located on a serene farm nestled in nature, offering a peaceful setting. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the dog daycare facility.
Supervise and coordinate day shift workers, volunteers, and helpers.
Ensure the safety and well‐being of all dogs in the facility.
Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, record‐keeping, and basic communication with dog owners (more complex customer interactions are managed by our customer manager).
Maintain a clean and organised facility.
Communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and dog owners, both verbally and in writing. Requirements
A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their care and well‐being.
Proven experience in managing a dog daycare or similar environment is preferred.
Strong leadership and people‐management skills.
Basic computer skills for scheduling, record‐keeping, and communication.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have a valid work permit and full driver's licence. How to Apply
