Our client, one of New Zealand's largest private companies, continues to expand with over 50 locations throughout Australasia. They embrace a Modern Workplace environment and are currently seeking an Application Support Specialist. This person will be the go-to for maintaining and supporting their MS Dynamics 365 applications, overseeing the upkeep and operational support - Ensuring seamless operation of business applications across their network.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring robust core Dynamics 365 platform (Fin Ops) support
Performing administration system configuration, and testing support during implementation phases
Maintaining and updating system and integration interfaces diligently
Analysing and rigorously testing new functionalities and changes from release upgrades, including both minor and major updates
Work with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of business applications
Providing training and support to end users
About You:
A proven track record of success in delivering high-quality application support services from the meeting of key business stakeholders and users, the taking of business requirements to configuration and support
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (a Microsoft Azure-based collaboration portal)
Extensive experience supporting MS Dynamics 365 Fin Ops applications is a must
Be able to demonstrate your thorough hands-on technical and functional knowledge of MS Dynamics 365
Proficient in diagnosing application issues, providing solutions or escalating complex problems to advanced support teams
Demonstrates strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills
Excels in fast-paced settings, balancing multiple priorities effectively
Innovative thinker, leveraging diverse methodologies for successful MS Dynamics improvement projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred
2+ years of experience in Application Support
Ability to communicate to non-technical people to take technical requirements for applications
Strong understanding of Dynamic365 administration, and application support
Experience working with vendors for application support and or development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
