About the role We have a permanent, part-time (0.25 FTE) opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse to lead clinical activities in our Operating Rooms and manage our Acute/Emergency Theatres. About the Team The Operating Rooms at Starship Children's Hospital handle acute/emergency and elective procedures across paediatric specialties including General, Thoracic, Urology, Endoscopy, Oncology, ORL, Dental, Head and Neck, Orthopaedics, Spinal, Plastics, and Cardiac. About you The ideal candidate will: Be eligible for registration with the NZ Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse. Have at least 3 years of perioperative nursing experience with a broad range of theatre skills. Provide clinical support, expertise, and leadership to ensure quality patient care. Possess strong communication and critical thinking skills and a commitment to family-centered care. Be dedicated to delivering quality healthcare.
