Grain Crop Feed Program Coordinator
Grain Crop is currently seeking a Feed Program Coordinator to join their team in Timaru, Canterbury, New Zealand. The ideal candidate must have the ability to provide expert advice and support to farmers regarding animal nutrition and feed management. Grain Crop Feeds is a national animal feed business directly dealing with corporate and farming customers across New Zealand. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $50,000-$70,000 per year.

Responsibilities of Feed Program Coordinator:

Provide expert advice and support to farmers regarding animal nutrition and feed management.

Develop and implement customized feeding programs to optimize livestock productivity and health.

Conduct regular farm visits to monitor and assess feed practices and their impact.

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.

Eligibility Requirements of Feed Program Coordinator:

Candidate must have a degree in animal science, agriculture, or veterinary science.

Previous experience in animal nutrition and feed sales.

Strong knowledge of animal nutrition and feed management practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills and Knowledge Desired:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses.

Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.

Capacity to provide and follow direction.

Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.

Ability to work extended hours, as required.
