Mō tēnei mahi (About this job)
We are currently looking for a Kaiwhakarite (Administrator) with a focus on Ako (Programme Delivery), to join our team at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that the takiwā Ako team is supported with any administrative tasks related to programme delivery. Some key responsibilities are (but not limited to):
Minute Taking
Assist with Programme Delivery Schedules and Lesson Plans
Assist with completion of travel / kai requests
Provide assistance for Monitors Visits / Kōmiti Awhina – contacting stakeholders, collation of information for reporting purposes, filing
Scheduling appointments
Provide support to kaiako with administrative tasks and programme resourcing
Mōu (About you)
You will be someone who has proven experience in providing administrative and support services, is proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, and has great written and oral communication skills in both English and Māori. Ideally, you will have a certificate in Business Administration or a related field, and a NZ Full Licence.
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
