Learning Support Coordinator

Taupaki School and Matua Ngaru School
We are seeking an experienced practitioner who has a passion for inclusive education.
Responsibilities:
Support Kaiako/teachers to lift their capability to better meet the needs of all learners.
Work with the school leadership team to ensure the needs of all students receive the appropriate support to enhance their learning and progress.
Support Structured Literacy practices in the classroom and in intervention programmes.
Support parents and whānau to build better relationships and understanding around learning support and establishing points of contact if needed.
Work alongside other LSCs across the cluster and connect with wider agencies to access services and resources to support learners.
Note:
The LSC role will be split across the two schools as follows: 3 days at Matua Ngaru School and 2 days at Taupaki School. Taupaki School Board of Trustees is the employing school.
