About the role:In this position you will provide administrative support to our clients and customers at our weekly and seasonal sales and assist our Livestock Representatives and Operations team.You will find yourself working primarily out of our Rangiuru Saleyards (Te Puke), providing administrative, technical and compliance support to customers and Representatives during auction/sale days;Working approximately 6hrs per week, at our weekly Tuesday sale, you will see that no one sale is the same and these are busy and demanding environments, so plenty of energy is required. There may be an opportunity to work additional hours, at seasonal and on-farm sales also. Due to the nature of our business our ideal candidate will have some knowledge or experience of the agriculture industry, strong administrative skills and flexibility to adapt to many situations.Skills & Experience:Demonstrate excellent time management skillsBe self-motivated, a great sense of humour and have an enthusiastic and positive attitudePrevious administration experience.A high level of computer skills is essential.Be able to prioritise, use initiative and ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are metFull, current NZ driver licence.PGG Wrightson is a leading nationwide provider of products and services to the rural sector.
