Working together enables the Co-lab to meet the needs of whanau effectively, it operates under a kaupapa Maori framework, extending its support to anyone seeking assistance. The core values of the Co-lab include manaakitanga, kotahitanga, aroha, whakapapa, akona, and mana motuhake. The Co-lab's success has led to ongoing funding for ISR (Integrated Service Response). ISR is a multi-agency intervention designed to ensure the immediate safety of victims and children, and to work with perpetrators to prevent further violence. ISR takes a whole-of-family and whanau approach that puts the risk and needs of family and whanau at the centre. About the organisation He Waka Tapu is a Kaupapa Maori organisation who have been supporting individuals and the community for over 20 years. He Waka Tapu works to increase the health and wellbeing of Whanau. About the role We are looking for an experienced administrator who will ensure the smooth operation of all Integrated Safety Response (ISR) administration. This role acknowledges the importance of appropriate services engaging with families who are experiencing family harm. It involves efficiently assigning referral tasks to family harm practitioner kaimahi in the collaboration, as directed by the daily Safety Assessment Meeting. When necessary, it also involves communicating with the Specialist Practice Lead regarding referral patterns or issues impacting capacity and workflow. Key Responsibilities and functions Allocate support services to family harm practitioner kaimahi recommended from the SAM table. Oversee support service allocation across all kaimahi according to their reported caseload. Provide feedback to the Specialist Practice Lead and Collaboration Lead about any backlog of tasks to the collaboration. Report any tasking trends to the Specialist Practice Lead and Collaboration Lead as required. Skills and experience Ability to work autonomously to meet tasking deadlines. Be skilled in use of computer databases and spreadsheets. Committed to on-going professional development and good practice. Capacity to assess referrals and gauge whanau risk/needs. Experience working with Maori and within a kaupapa Maori environment. Experience in establishing effective working relationships with individuals, their whanau and other key stakeholders. You must hold a full clean driver's licence. You must be able to obtain access to the Family Safety System (FSS), so a clean criminal record is essential.
