You’ll also have an opportunity to build on your current skills by working across services you’ve never worked in before. You’ll be supported by a great orientation package, ongoing education and a nurse educator designated to The Bureau. We are committed to supporting your development by moving you through services in a structured way that allows you to deepen and broaden your skills. Working as a permanent health care assistant with us means you will be working from both sites CCDHB has, Kenepuru Community Hospital and Wellington Regional Hospital on rostered and rotating shifts.Skills and ExperienceNZQA Level 3 Health and Wellbeing or equivalentHealthcare experience preferredHold a current work visa or have the legal right to work in New ZealandAbout our Organisation Capital, Coast district is located centrally in Wellington and has over 6,000 full-time equivalent staff, making us one of the major employers in the Wellington region. Capital, Coast and Hutt valley operates two hospitals – Wellington Regional Hospital in Newtown and Kenepuru Hospital in Porirua – as well as the Kapiti Health Centre at Paraparaumu. The Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) spans across the district - Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Capital, Coast and includes local, regional, and national services.
