Business Services team
Our team sits within the wider City Consenting and Compliance unit - supporting our Consenting team to ensure the appropriate use of land, integrity of buildings and maintaining public health and safety.
The role
Our wonderful Business Support Officer and Hearing Coordinator is off on parental leave in the new year - so we have a great opportunity for an administrative professional to join our small and friendly team for a 10-month fixed term.
In your role as a Business Support Officer, you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support for our fantastic team by:
supporting the resource consents team in processing consents organising hearings to ensure that the team meet all their deadlinesif you are applying for this role as a secondment opportunity, we encourage you to speak with your manager prior to application to ensure you can be released if successful.
So who are we looking for?
This is a role which will suit someone with a methodical mind - you'll be able to follow processes and get things done the right way. You'll have great communication skills and be adept at organising your time.
You will be proactive in supporting the team - and know your way round the Microsoft 365 suite.
You'll work for a manager who embraces flexible working and empowers people to get the job done.
We offer work flexibility (up to 2 days working from home) and a welcoming, supportive team.
