To support this, we are seeking applications for the position of Senior Business Analyst within the Transformation and Change team either in a newly established Auckland premises or Headquarters in Wellington.
The Transformation and Change team are responsible for the delivery of business-led change and transformative programmes of work. The team is made up of experienced and passionate Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Business Analysts and Change Managers who partner across Police to deliver on behalf of frontline staff and the communities they serve.
As a Senior Business Analysts at Police, no two days are the same. Whether you’re helping bring about meaningful change to the way frontline Police interacts with the community, or you’re identifying opportunities to keep the Police whānau safe; every day at Police brings the opportunity to make a difference and to contribute to projects that have real world impact.
Key Accountabilities:
Workshop facilitation, requirements elicitation and documentation
Analysis of current state, recommendations for future state
Development of business process models
Contributions to Business Case(s) and Benefits Realisation Plan(s).
In addition, as an experienced Senior Business Analyst, you will naturally have:
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to present ideas in a concise and user-friendly fashion
Confidence to engage with a vast range of stakeholders
Ability to mentor and coach less experienced Business Analysts
Be able to problem solve and think on your feet
Be able to deal with ambiguity
Have a genuine human-centred approach, with a desire to make a difference.
