CARTERS Cambridge Manufacturing has an opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to lead the Frame & Truss production night shift team.
We are seeking an experienced people leader with sound manufacturing knowledge and understanding of the processes within a frame and truss manufacturing environment.
About the role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a production team of manufacturing operators and carpenters, ensuring production targets are met; safety and quality is adhered to while training and developing your team.
Key responsibilities of the role are as follows: Lead the team to deliver products to customer expectations and requirements Lead a team of between 6 and 10 team members Manage your team of employees, temps and contractors to deliver performance expectations Work cooperatively with the manufacturing leadership team to deliver quality product and service Ensure appropriate training and development of staff Ensure systems are in place to minimise waste Ensure customer delivery dates are met Ensure a culture of continuous improvement About you You will be highly motivated and have a passion for developing a high-performance culture to meet business objectives while possessing the following skills and experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role in a multi shift environment.
