Onsite Specialist

to represent an ever-growing innovative portfolio of power tools, hand tools and accessories. You will be responsible for selling, servicing and developing our customer base to end users onsite across the South Island.

About the role

Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, your key responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a trade customer database in your region and utilise it to plan a call cycle
Effectively present and sell the advantages of TTI’s trade brands directly on end-user’s sites
Manage quotations, delivery and after-sales support for trade accounts
Maximise exposure and relationships with key trade associations and training institutions
Prepare and present report on market and sales activity
Plan the promotion and demonstration of TTI’s trade brands at Trade Events

About you

AEG is looking for someone who has the hunger for sales, and the ambition to go above and beyond for themselves, the company and most importantly, their customers! We are searching for the following attributes:

Must have a current Driver’s Licence
Ability to build and maintain long standing business relationships
Ability to actively pursue sales targets, self-motivated and work autonomously
Possesses strong experience in trade sales
Demonstrate strong communication skills, is business minded and market savvy
Great sense of confidence and skill, to effectively present to internal and external groups
Must have experience towing and reversing trailers
Must have experience managing stock/inventory
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Willing to travel and work occasional weekends- attendance to trade shows and special events throughout the designated area
