Community engagement and whakawhanaungatanga are at the core of this role, you will collaborate with partners, local iwi and community leaders to promote mental and social resilience, particulary in Maori and pacific people/communities and young people. Collaboration with agencies and organisations will be a primary focus, specifically with aims to reduce the rate of alcohol and illegal drug use, as well as a strategic approach across the community mental health sector to prevent suicide in young people.The remuneration range for this role is $59,035 - $83,030 and is covered by the collective agreement: PSA Allied MECA Allied, Public Health & TechnicalPosition Description | Senior Health Promotion Advisor: Rangatahi, Population Health 1.0 FTE
