ADA New Zealand (ADANZ) is a subsidiary of ADA and has secured the NZDF Wearables Supply and Managed Services contract. The Role
Reporting to the Regional Clothing Store Supervisor NZ you will be part of the team responsible for managing timely and efficient delivery of our clothing store services in the Waiouru area. This includes sizing, ordering, receipting, and the issuing of clothing and support items for New Zealand Defence Force and uniformed civilian personnel. Responsibilities
Placing of orders through our dedicated inventory system
The coordination of uniform items
Facilitating the transfer of stock to other clothing stores
Ensuring successful management of the recruit sizing process
Overseeing the discharge, returns and re-issues process
Placing bulk orders when required
Notifying and updating customers on their orders
The issuing of Wearables for promotion requirements
Arranging timely delivery of items for intakes, missions, and other functions
Providing support for clothing stores across NZ to develop a collaborative working relationship and sharing of knowledge and training
Qualifications
A high standard of customer service skills
Knowledge or experience with basic stores procedures and policies
Computer literacy, with some experience on networked computer systems
Tact, sensitivity, and diplomacy; ability to think on feet and act proactively with discretion
Commitment to personal learning, development, and improvement in pursuit of own performance objectives and those of the team and organisation
A high level of motivation and commitment to the ADANZ values
A good understanding of measurements and uniform requirements
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues
Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
