This role is working with our team of nurses, general practitioners and support staff providing clinical administration support, contributing to the smooth daily operation of the clinic. You will also work closely with Student Counselling and other student support teams. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with clinics, acting as a chaperone, completing ECG's.Manage the cleaning, autoclaving, storage and regular maintenance of surgical equipment to comply with the appropriate standards set out in the RNZCGP Cornerstone accreditation process.Ensure all healthcare areas are tidy, clean and have adequate supplies of linen; manage consumable stock levels coordinating the ordering of these supplies in conjunction with the Clinical Lead Nursing.Demonstrate professional accountability by maintaining clear, concise, accurate and timely documentation in the PMS.Provide clinical administrative support in conjunction with the Nursing Team to facilitate and contribute to an external focus on student wellbeing and health promotion, being available to participate in health promotion and wellbeing activities for students.Demonstrate an ability to work both independently and in collaboration with other health professionals assessing client's progress towards expected outcomes to ensure continuity of patient care in a variety of settings. O pumanawa - About youIdeally, you will have the following: Experience in a health care setting with an interest in youth health.Excellent time management skills.An ability to work independently with confidence.An ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.Experience using practice management software (Indici) an advantage.Previous experience with sterilising and infection control procedure preferred.
