Senior Greenkeeper.
Role Overview:
As a
Senior Greenkeeper , you will use your experience to help deliver an exceptional golfing experience at Tieke. You will play a key role in maintaining the course to the highest standards, ensuring greens, fairways, and waste areas are presented in excellent condition to enhance the overall playing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Mowing, fertilizing, and aerating greens, tees, and fairways.
Maintaining waste areas, including raking and edging.
Applying pesticides and herbicides as needed.
Conducting routine maintenance on equipment.
Assisting with course setup for tournaments and events.
Monitoring and maintaining the health of turf and plants.
Performing other groundskeeping duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience as a greenkeeper working on a golf course (Essential).
Experience in chemical and fertilizer application (Essential).
Sound knowledge of machinery and equipment related to golf course maintenance (Essential).
Previous experience in irrigation repairs and maintenance (Essential).
Minimum Certificate III in Turf Management (Preferred).
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work early mornings, one weekend per month, and occasional holidays.
Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
