Why this role matters?
We’re on the hunt for an
Analytics Engineer
who can help build out our data infrastructure to meet the ever-expanding needs of our global customer base. This isn’t a back-office role. You’ll be central to our product growth — designing, optimising, and scaling the core data models that drive Kamal’s insights engine.

What you’ll be doing?
Own the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of (dbt) data models
that power dashboards, analytics, and AI-driven insights for our clients, i.e. recruitment businesses.
Collaborate directly with our clients
to deeply understand their business processes and translate them into scalable, well-documented data models.
Help evolve and scale our onboarding framework
— improve the tools, scripts, and templates that streamline how we ingest, transform, and serve client data.
Work closely with others in the team
to ensure the data you model is high quality, well-governed, and ready for downstream data products.
Who are we looking for?
Must haves:
Proven experience in analytics engineering , data modelling, data engineering or a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL, data modelling and dbt
— you can understand our existing data models and confidently extend or improve them as we onboard more customers.
Solid experience with modern cloud and data stacks — We use Databricks and AWS but welcome experiences from similar cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure or Snowflake.
Comfortable with Git best practices
for version control, CI/CD and collaboration.
Familiarity with BI tools
(e.g. Power BI, Looker, Tableau) and how data modelling decisions impact downstream analytics and usability.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with Python
focusing on data ingestion, data transformation, scripting, and automation.
Interest in emerging AI tools and trends , with a habit of experimenting, staying up to date, and suggesting practical ways to apply them for productivity and workflow improvements.
Experience with data pipelines
or modelling data in a multi-tenant environment.
You’re a generalist at heart and a pragmatic problem-solver by nature
— excited to bring clarity to messy, ambiguous problems, and confident tackling challenges beyond your core expertise. You’re comfortable switching hats, adapting to what the situation needs, and figuring things out along the way. You have a mindset for automation and repeatability, always looking for ways to improve developer experience and reducing manual overhead.
You know when to move fast and when to lay foundations
— you’re comfortable shipping scrappy solutions when needed, but thoughtful enough to spot when tech debt might slow us down later.
You're a great communicator
— You’re confident and clear when talking in front of clients, and comfortable presenting work, gathering feedback, and building trust in a stakeholder-facing role.
