What we offer: Fulltime permanent employment; 40 hours per week You will be supplied with a company vehicle for work use, smartphone, laptop, and uniform Ongoing training and regular opportunities for professional development and upskilling, including NZQA qualifications A market-leading remuneration package based on your skills and experience What you will do: Install, test, and commission Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hose Reel Systems, Special Hazard Systems, Fire Service Risers in new and existing buildings, in accordance with drawings and clients/architects' aesthetic requirements, within the hours budgeted for the job. How you will do it: Install, commission, service, and test fire sprinkler, hose reel, special hazards, and hydrant systems. Be self-motivated to achieve programme and budget allocations. Have a working knowledge of applicable hardware, fastenings, access equipment, etc. Represent Wormald New Zealand Limited on site in a professional and courteous manner. Have a working knowledge of products used by the Company. Undertake training and upskill to achieve NZQA recognised qualifications in fixed fire protection. Be responsible for Company equipment. Adhere to safe work practices as set out in the Company Health and Safety Guidelines. Ensure that the system is installed in a neat and tradesman-like fashion. Ensure that the system is installed in accordance with the intent of the drawings supplied and directions given. Any other duties as reasonably requested by the business. What we look for: Proven experience in the industry in installing fixed fire protection systems, with the ability to work from drawings and competence in the fitting of pipes, valves, pumps, and accessories in a firefighting system.
