The opportunity - Te tūranga
The Solutions Architect will work with the business, playing a pivotal role in delivering architecture solutions that align with our strategic direction. This role focuses on solutions architecture for the end-to-end implementation of a vendor-provided solution that unifies inventory management and sales processes across broadcast and digital channels, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and improving data-driven decision-making.
In the role, you will be defining end-to-end solutions architecture for the implementation of new digital platforms and solutions. You will ensure seamless integration of new solutions with existing broadcast, digital, and enterprise systems. Design data flows and integration patterns to enable consistent inventory visibility and data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with business, technology, and vendor teams to align solutions with operational and strategic goals. Identify and mitigate technical risks related to integration, scalability, and data quality. Produce high-quality architectural documentation, including solution designs, interface specifications, and integration blueprints.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract

To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Lead Solutions Architect with a track record of designing solutions for large-scale system integrations.
- Experience working on integrated solutions, preferably within the media industry, particularly in video streaming and audience enrichment domains.
- Proven experience in cloud services architecture (AWS and Azure) and services (such as API Gateway, Lambda, Cloud Formation, VPC, SNS, SQS, RDS, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Logic Apps).
- Expertise in integration design patterns, data modelling, and data flow design.
- Ability to provide technical oversight during solution design, build, test, and deployment phases to support successful implementation.
- Ability to identify and mitigate technical risks related to scalability, data quality, and interoperability.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
