As Information Management Lead you'll be responsible for information architecture, technical writing and localisation for products across Vista Group. This role encompasses non-marketing, client-facing information spaces and content to help users easily find and navigate through the information they seek to build their understanding of Vista's product suite and to execute their tasks.
In performing this role, you'll consider:
Users: their tasks and needs, information seeking behavior, levels of experience
Content: types and mediums of information and material, volume, structure and localized versions
Context: technology, goals, funding/resourcing and constraints
Proactive in seeking emerging tools and technologies you'll be able to evaluate gains in quality, efficacy and efficiency.
You will be data-driven, hands-on, future-focused and user-centric, with a track record of collaboration and leading teams through change.
Time allocation in the role would be approximately 70% on knowledge evolution and 30% on managerial activities; this will vary based on business needs.
About The Role
Information organization: Ensure users can find information quickly and easily, analyse and understand the content to include in the system, and categorize and structure the information in a logical and meaningful way, considering factors such as hierarchy, relationships, and user requirements. This organisation enables users to find information quickly and efficiently.
Continuous improvement: Identify, evaluate and implement appropriate emerging technologies to advance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tools, function and content for the benefit of the Knowledge Services team and users, with a particular emphasis on AI large language models. Get hands on where required writing code to help prove concepts and get them live.
User research: Work with the Product Design team to conduct ongoing research into Users, Content and Context to inform information architecture system design and content decisions to meet the requirements of client users and internal stakeholders. This will involve implementing and reviewing analytics and participating in user interviews and surveys.
System documentation: Create and maintain documentation that outlines the system's information structure and navigation design. These documents may include site maps, wireframes, flowcharts, and user personas, taxonomies and metadata. Documentation serves as a reference for stakeholders and provides a framework for the implementation and maintenance of the information architecture.
Content creation: Oversee the Knowledge Services team of Technical Writers and Localisation to ensure that content is created in a timely manner, in line with the system designed, and reviewed and updated to ensure it remains fit-for-purpose. This will involve overseeing task allocation and productivity and reviewing outputs.
Lead and mentor team members to support their professional development, employee satisfaction (e NPS) and productivity.
