If you seek mastery of your craft, have a curious mind and a healthy disrespect for the status-quo, then Spidertracks is for you!This is a hands-on role to contribute to our cloud software stack within a collaborative start up environment working on a leading IoT SaaS platform. Responsibilities Development - Hands-on software development, engineering and deployment. Technology - Collaborate with your team to help define the architecture and technical designs for our cloud platform and API solutions. Product operations - Ensure technology solutions are operationally ready and supportable in the long-term. Practices - Continually seek to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our engineering practices. Projects - Participate in projects to deliver new functionality and maintain existing systems. Requirements Proven ability to participate in the implementation of cloud solutions, ideally with high reliability requirements. Proficiency in NodeJS and React, also Java experience is a plus. Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, DynamoDB and RDS. Passion for rich, reliable, maintainable, extensible APIs which expose real value to consumers. Ability to take ownership of existing systems and incrementally improve a code base. Find ways to reduce complexity in technology, products and processes. Desirable experience in building a DevOps culture. Bring hunger, energy and passion to everything you do and thrive in a startup environment. Have an insatiable curiosity to understand the real-world problems and solve them by mastering your technology domains. Having experience with all our tech stack is beneficial but not required, with ample learning opportunities on the job.
