You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.You are comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries and fully capable in using Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, Rust or similar development languages to develop applications. Role Responsibilities: Work with development teams and product managers to ideate and produce scalable software solutionsParticipating in the design and creation of scalable softwareBuild features and applications with a mobile responsive designDesign client-side and server-side architectureDevelop fully fledged platforms including databases and servers which don’t need other applications to function. Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applicationsWriting clean, functional code on the front- and back-endBuild the front-end of applications through appealing visual designCreate security and data protection settingsTest software to ensure responsiveness and efficiencyTesting and fixing bugs or other coding issuesTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade softwareWrite effective APIsWrite technical documentationWork with data scientists and analysts to improve softwareRequirements of the role/ skills required to be effective in the role:Be familiar with Agile methodologiesProven experience as a Software Developer Experience developing desktop and mobile applicationsKnowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodePipeline. etc.Demonstrable hands-on experience with Docker, cri-o, and OCI standards.Design and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure including AWS and AzureFamiliarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX designExperience with modern relational databases (preferably Postgres)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsGreat attention to detail and organisational skillsAt SECTION6, we care deeply about what we do and how we do it.
