Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are picking up some excellent Auckland based opportunities. We now require a project manager/Associate level candidate to work on a variety of new build projects in the Auckland region. Our client is a professional consultancy with experience with a variety of projects from aged care/residential/commercial and airports, with business interests throughout the Auckland region and some further south. They have experienced an increase in projects on the books, even during these interesting covid times and with that have developed a need for a solid ambitious senior project manager.The immediate focus for this role will be to work on some airport, defence and hotel schemes, with a future potential to delve into other commercial and government projects throughout the Auckland region and maybe throughout the country.  The RoleThe need is for a Project Manager who can manage larger scale projects. The ideal candidate will be a highly presentable, professional who is comfortable and natural at liaising with clients and stakeholders, while ensuring that contractual partners are ensuring the delivery of projects.  Duties Ensure that deadlines during the construction process are met Continue the companies stellar reputation with health and safety Manage and show leadership to stakeholders and wider team members Maintain the high performance, customer focused culture has produced not just great results, but the right results Skills and Experience 10 years experience in Project Management, preferably in Industrial/commercial/Government construction Completion of a relevant tertiary degree, or alternatively an advanced trade qualification and relevant industry experience A high level of proficiency with Microsoft software, specifically MS Project CultureOur clients strive to provide an environment in the workplace that is conducive to a high level of productivity.
