This role will be part of the Wellness Solutions group in EverCommerce and focused on the SalonBiz product. The Wellness Solutions group is focused on the beauty and hair industries allowing best of class software to salons and professionals to allow them to run their day. We have two main products at this time, Timely and SalonBiz and teams that work across both or focused on one or the other.

This is where you come in!
As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you’re part of a team responsible for supporting product, platform and systems engineering teams. The Cloud Engineering team serves to enable other teams, as well as supporting the Wellness Solution’s various infrastructure and delivery platforms.
You’ll be helping move SalonBiz onto our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, manage our other cloud services and help develop the maturity of the platform team and practices. We don’t need you to have experience with OCI in particular, but be able to show a track record of learning new technologies and working at a senior level.
You’ll be passionate about DevOps practices and cloud technology, with a proven track record of delivering solid and thoughtful solutions using current methodologies and patterns.
As a SaaS company, we provide customers and business stakeholders with a highly available and stable platform to operate from. You are key to this - ready to react to incidents as needed, while also thinking strategically in order to enable innovative, efficient and secure solutions and products.

Ability to work with a wide range of engineering disciplines to get work done.


An understanding of cloud architectures and practices


Experience in cloud automation tools such as Terraform


Experience with Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service offerings


A learning mindset


Experience in coaching and mentoring


An understanding of security and infrastructure concerns


Nice to have: Experience with Oracle cloud


Nice to have: Experience with Networking Security

This role is full time, permanent and can be based anywhere in New Zealand.


You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
