Job Description

Working within a friendly, professional and supportive team and reporting to our Associate Director, you will be responsible for contributing to a team with the capacity to work independently and interact with clients.
Deliver quality service to clients including managing priorities and deliverables.
Take responsibility for your own deliverables and ensure all commitments are completed.
Manage smaller commissions including fee proposal, team, and job profitability.
Assist the Associate Director with fee proposal, managing and mentoring junior team members, and assist in managing project costs.
Responsible for pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place.
Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
Contribute to developing and delivering the companies initiatives.

A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
AIQS or RICS qualified or imminently about to be ideal.
Experience in the high-tech/health/education/commercial/retail sectors preferred.
Good leadership skills with the ability to lead a small team.
Independent thinker who can actively contribute to finding solutions.
Consultancy environment work experience desirable.
Experience of leading and successfully delivering cost management commissions.
Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
