We're working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add qualified Electricians to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.
Shift Electrician/Electrical Maintenance Engineer
You will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and reviewing/checking designs and drawings on installation projects.
To be successful, we would like you to have:
A recognised industrial electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition).
Experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in the print, packaging or associated industries would be great but is not essential.
Experience with maintenance programmes.
Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer.
Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.
Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
