Senior Mechanical Engineer - FEA and Asset Integrity

Our team of around 40 professionals serves a diverse range of blue-chip clients across New Zealand and Australia. Specializing in hydro-generation, our expertise extends to geothermal, wind generation, petrochemical, and municipal sectors. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a high-performing Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive FEA experience to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of end-to-end innovative solutions for complex technical and digital marketing requirements.
Conduct stress analysis, FEA crack analysis, and fatigue studies.
Perform Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments and manage NDT service providers.
Collaborate with regional/global peers to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Mentor junior architects and developers through knowledge sharing and coaching.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s or Ph D preferred).
7+ years of experience with advanced FEA in a relevant industry.
Proficiency with Ansys and experience modeling in Solid Works.
Strong understanding of web application architecture, development, and hosting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to prepare and review high-quality technical reports.
