Omega Windows and Doors (by Mc Kechnie) is looking for a highly motivated individual to support the development of our network in the South Island. The Role: As the South Island Business Development Manager – Omega, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our operations in the South Island. Your responsibilities will encompass both the proactive prospecting and acquisition of new business opportunities, as well as providing comprehensive support to our existing network. This dual focus will require strategic thinking, strong relationship-building skills, and a commitment to fostering long-term partnerships. You will be instrumental in expanding our reach, strengthening our market presence, and ensuring the continued success of our network. We are looking for an experienced sales professional who: Can offer exceptional support to fabricators (both internal and external), specifiers, architects, engineers and other design professionals Understands the importance of building internal relationships and maintaining a high level of team morale Has a proven track record building strong customer relationships Is experienced in working as part of an ambitious team, ideally with a strong background in aluminium or a similarly technical construction field Is a self-starter capable of operating independently but with appropriate structure e.g. Account Plans and regular reporting disciplines Possesses proven sales or customer relationship type experience within a technical field About you: As an experienced sales professional, you will: Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrate strong self-motivation, a proactive mindset, and a positive attitude Possess a reasonable level of technical aptitude, essential for success in this role Have knowledge of the design process and a willingness to further develop your expertise Understand modern manufacturing processes Bring a background in aluminium, preferably in windows and doors Show excellent attention to detail Maintain a high standard of service Leverage your expertise to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships If you are passionate, ambitious and innovative, and seeking a role that offers the opportunity to advance your career, we encourage you to apply.
