Metal Fabricator Welder required throughout the Hawkes Bay region!One Staff is looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator Welder for multiple roles. You will need to be reliable and motivated. Flexibility on work locations is preferred as you might be asked to work across the country to assist with projects. The duties include: Fabricate, install, and repair metal products such as vents, handrails, boilers, aircraft and boat parts, or beams and girders for construction projects. Prepare metal for fabrication. Read and interpret engineering blueprints. Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines. Set up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears. Weld metal pieces using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques. Check design specifications before cutting. Fabricate and construct metal components. Finish products by grinding and polishing. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met. Follow health and safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. Pay rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience. Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed. Skills and experience required: At least 2.5 years of relevant experience or qualification. Reliable, hardworking, with good time management and a strong work ethic. Flexibility to work across various locations nationwide. Committed to learning and safety practices. Location: Multiple locations across New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, and others. This is a permanent, full-time role.
