Description

Roles & Responsibilities: Monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of AWS resources, such as EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and other services.
Provisioning and configuring new AWS resources as per the requirements.
Ensuring the scalability and availability of the cloud platform infrastructure.
Implementing and managing security controls, such as IAM policies, security groups, and network ACLs.
Monitoring and responding to security events and incidents.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR) for the cloud environment.
Performing regular security assessments and address to vulnerability reports provided from Security team.
Developing and maintaining scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, such as resource provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
Monitoring and responding to incidents and service disruptions in the cloud environment.
Investigating and resolving issues, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Analyzing performance metrics and identifying areas for optimization and enhancement.
Implementing best practices and staying up to date with the latest AWS features and services.
Collaborating with Architect team to ensure seamless integration and deployments.
Providing knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the team and promote cloud adoption.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, security, compliance) to ensure alignment and effective cloud operations.
Communicating with stakeholders, including management and end-users, to provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback.
Documenting processes, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Qualifications/ Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).1-3 years of experience in L2 support for cloud operations and incident support Able to commit 24/7 standby Proven experience in cloud operations, managing cloud-based infrastructure, and deploying cloud services.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure.
Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools.
Familiarity with scripting especially Linux and automation using languages like Python, Power Shell, Bash, etc.
Experience with Cloud monitoring tools and services.
Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
