Maven is seeking a full-time Engineer to assist with our ever-growing workload and team in the Bay of Plenty. A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required. Working closely with our Senior Engineers, you will be responsible for preparing drawings in accordance with relevant standards and, where necessary, providing information to draughting staff to produce ‘finished’ drawings/plans. You will perform engineering calculations, analysis, and design, and produce engineering reports and plans. Additionally, you will prepare tender documents and assist with the assessment of tenders. Your role will also include site investigations, field tests, and reporting findings, along with close liaison with the Team Leader, Managers, and Directors on job progress, particularly regarding any indications that deadlines or targets might not be achieved. The right candidate will be self-motivated, possess good communication skills, and be able to self-manage. Requirements: Relevant tertiary education (BE, NZDE, BEngtech).2+ years’ experience in the Civil Engineering Industry. Experience with Auto CAD/Civil3 D/12 D. Understanding of construction contracts specifically NZS3910. A high standard of written and verbal communication skills. A confident and professional approach whilst working onsite. Comfortable working out on site conducting inspections of work and resolution of issues.
