Description Lead projects that keep South Westland moving! We’re looking for an experienced
Area Supervisor
to manage civil construction and maintenance works across the South Westland District. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll oversee roading, utilities, and other client projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
Supervise civil construction and maintenance projects for roading, utilities, and other clients.
Plan and coordinate resources, plant, and materials to keep projects on track.
Conduct daily and weekly site briefings, including Health & Safety updates.
Ensure quality assurance and compliance with project specifications.
Manage reporting requirements, including RAMM/AWM data entry.
Ensure compliance with road safety and temporary traffic management standards.
Schedule routine plant maintenance.
Support additional duties across the West Coast region as needed.
Skills and Experiences
Strong leadership and team supervision skills
High level of IT literacy, including RAMM/AWM experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to plan, organise, and manage multiple projects
Solid knowledge of civil construction practices and Health & Safety regulations.
Class 5 driver's licence plus WTR endorsements
