We're on the hunt for an Assurance Manager to join our Risk – Compliance and Operational Risk team. As an Assurance Manager in our Compliance and Operational Risk team, you’ll be a key player in embedding our Enterprise Assurance Standard and driving assurance maturity across Kiwibank. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive risk and assurance culture while working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders. What you’ll do: Roll out and embed Kiwibank’s Enterprise Assurance Standard, educating stakeholders on assurance principles, and driving maturity and best practices. Develop, execute, and monitor a risk-based Enterprise Assurance Plan. Conduct Second Line assurance activities, including control testing, advisory reviews, and independent assessments. Report assurance outcomes, provide guidance on remediation plans, and monitor progress on open issues. Manage Kiwibank’s six-monthly Executive Attestation exercise and prepare high-quality reports for Executive and Board Committees. Contribute to enterprise-wide reporting, capturing insights that inform decision-making at all levels. This is us. Where your expertise matters. At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following: A solid track record in assurance, compliance, or operational risk (Second Line experience preferred). Financial services expertise or relevant experience in professional services or other industries. A deep understanding of risk management, compliance, and assurance principles, including conducting assurance reviews end-to-end. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide pragmatic solutions and assess impacts holistically. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with experience influencing stakeholders across all levels. Experience in preparing reports for executive and board committees, working on large-scale transformation programs, or leveraging data analytics is highly advantageous.
