This Business Analyst role sits at the centre of the programme, working across business, product, and technology teams to shape requirements and support delivery across multiple parallel workstreams. You will act as a key connector, translating complex insurance processes into clear technical requirements as teams transition to modern platforms. Key responsibilities include: Analyse current-state processes and define future-state workflows Capture functional and non-functional requirements Support system modernisation, cloud migration, and application upgrades Define API, integration, and data flow requirements Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria Support testing and UAT through requirement clarification Identify process improvements enabled by new platforms Skills & Experience Business Analyst experience within insurance or regulated environments Experience supporting digital transformation or modernisation programmes Strong capability across API analysis, integration, and data mapping Agile delivery experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria Confident stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams About the company Our client is a globally recognised insurance and risk management organisation with a strong presence in New Zealand.
