The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

Attention all Registered Clinicians (Counsellor, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist and Registered Nurse)

We're looking for an experienced registered clinician to join our Real Southern Lakes Youth Service in Taupō. A youth-focused early intervention program in the Taupō region operates within schools and the community, utilising both individual and group-based approaches.

You will align with our tikanga (principles) and kawa (practice) and support the clinical components of Whetū Marewa - Primary Mental Health.

These role is permanent part-time, working 20 hours per week in Taupō.

You | Mōu

Our preferred candidates will have:

A current practicing certificate- Nursing preferred, but other disciplines are welcome.

Experience working in mental health is preferred

An understanding of local community issues and of tikanga Māori.

Ability to develop and maintain internal and external key relationships.

Uphold the integrity and mana of both the taiohi and kaupapa.

The ability to work independently and innovatively to engage young people/taiohi and whānau.

A inspiring and enthusiastic outlook on life

A current full NZ driver’s licence.
