Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking the services of a permanent full-time general radiologist to work in our department at Taranaki Base Hospital. You would be working as part of a dynamic team with nine other


adiologists. The department offers;
All modalities are state of te art, with CT, MRI, and ultrasound all upgraded in 2022. An integrated regional RIS/PACS is in use.
If you are looking for an opportunity to challenge yourself and take on a leadership role, we have the following leadership opportunities available in the department:
Director of Training

- Te Whatu Ora Taranaki are in the process of becoming and accredited training facility with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology. We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist to lead the training programme.

You will possess essential skills that include plain film, ultrasound, CT, and MRI reporting.
Desirable skills would include sub-specialty interest in any of: musculoskeletal MRI; general interventional radiology (no intracranial work); CT colonography; cardiac CT, or nuclear medicine.
Ideally you will hold vocational registration from the Medical Council of new Zealand ,or be eligible for such registration holding recognised post-graduate qualifications from another country.
You may be eligible for relocation assistance and a generous continuing education allowance and days.
