The Company
Join a multi-national Engineering consultancy renowned for their technical expertise across a diverse range of Industries. They have Offices spanning over 40+ Countries with a headcount of 3500 People and offer high level design engineering and project management expertise in major Civil Projects across the Globe
The Role
As the Project Director, you will be responsible for providing engineering design and project management support on a variety of complex multidisciplinary projects in the Rail market, ensuring project delivery as well as supporting positioning and winning projects within the rail market. You will play an instrumental role in collaborating with Commercial, Project Management, Engineering and Design Technical Leaders to create opportunities to plan, develop and deliver on a range of Projects.
Key Responsibilities
Business development - Identify and evaluate pursuits, lead proposal efforts
Build an enhanced culture of design delivery, commercial expertise and innovation
Drive a commercial orientation throughout the operations function, emphasizing the strategic, efficient and effective use of resources
Key Criteria
Bachelor of Engineering or relevant tertiary qualification
Extensive knowledge of rail transport operations, associated legislation and organizational governance principles relating to the Rail industry (both freight or light rail experience will be considered)
Experience leading major and multidisciplinary rail projects, with a strong preference for those with experience working in a D&C/Alliance delivery environment
Specialist skills providing leadership and strategic direction to deliver outcomes within a complex commercial and customer- oriented environment
