Position: Senior Resource Consent Planner Location: Thames-Coromandel Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: Our client offers a unique opportunity for planners to work on diverse projects. You'll be involved in assessing complex resource consent applications and managing environmental planning. As a Senior Planner, you'll also mentor colleagues and support the Development Planning Team Leader. Additionally, you'll prepare reports and recommendations for Council committees and provide advice to support the Council's strategic and operational functions. About You: We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a sense of humor who enjoys working in a small, supportive team. To succeed in this role, you should have: At least 5 years of experience in the planning industry. A planning degree or similar qualification, and membership in a professional association or working towards it. Knowledge of key Local Government legislation.
