Leading a team of employees and contractors, you'll also manage a portfolio of resource consent applications.
You'll provide expert planning advice to the public, consultants, and internal stakeholders and administer and implement the District Plan.

You'll also need: A recognised tertiary qualification in Resource Management Planning At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in planning Proven ability to process a full range of consent applications Experience presenting at the Environment Court Sound decision-making and advisory capabilities Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset Eligibility for full membership with the New Zealand Planning Institute This is a part-time role, but if you're seeking a full-time role we are still keen to hear from you.
