The opportunity: The KPMG Data and AI team leverage expertise in analytics, data engineering, data science, advanced visualisation and artificial intelligence to help our clients solve a range of challenges and effectively use insights.
We're seeking a Data Consultant to support the way that we deliver projects to our clients. This role requires a self-starting and motivated person to produce the required high standard of deliverables.


Day to day you will: Engage with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions
Assist in building the pipeline of projects for the team, through Business Development, networking and responding to requests for proposals.
Be an adept translator, translating business requirements into technical deliverables
Project manage and deliver data analytics, business intelligence (BI), artificial intelligence (AI) projects and analytics-as-a-service solutions, including resourcing, scoping, pricing and on-budget delivery
Manage a team of consultants and data specialists to ensure efficient and high quality delivery of projects
Performance manage / mentor junior staff members
Have an agile mind-set and understand agile methodologies – you’ll have the ability to pivot & adapt quickly
Have an understanding of Data Governance and Risk frameworks


What you'll bring to the team: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to work with cross functional teams to translate business issues into potential analytics solutions
5+ years hands-on experience, in a consulting role preferred
Qualification in Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or another quantitative field
Experience in managing and leading advanced analytics and business intelligence projects
Experience in managing and leading statistical modelling, machine learning or AI projects
Experience with implementing data and AI solutions and applications on cloud ( data warehouses, data lakes, AI agents)
High integrity and a professional background
