What we are looking for


We are seeking an enthusiastic and established scientist to join our marine biosecurity team to work across NIWA to develop marine biosecurity research and consulting opportunities, prepare proposals, assemble, and manage project teams to complete all aspects of the work, including data analysis and reporting, preparation of publications and other outputs. You will be involved in NIWA's marine biosecurity research programme, the Marine High Risk Site Surveillance project, and other commercial projects. This position is expected to lead the development of both commercial and research funding opportunities.
