We are looking for a Junior Content Writer to join our Marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract to help deliver high-impact digital content. You’ll go beyond writing, interviewing industry leaders, turning research into compelling case studies, and experimenting with copy through A/B testing to see what truly resonates. This role is ideal for a proactive storyteller with 1–2 years’ experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to own the content lifecycle from ideation to final polish.
What you will do
Plan and execute short form and long form content for various digital channels including blog articles, ebooks, scripts, whitepapers, social media posts, email campaigns and digital advertising
Write in contrasting styles to effectively test copy performance
Contact and interview educators and industry professionals, and develop case studies based on the transcript
Collaborate closely with Senior Copywriter, Digital & UX Designer, Go to Market team and other internal stakeholders to support marketing initiatives and campaigns
Research different personas within the Australian, New Zealand and Canadian education sectors and effectively plan and develop content accordingly
Ensure all content is grammatically correct, error-free, adheres to brand guidelines and style standards
Proof read and edit copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, punctuation
Contribute ideas about content programs and pieces based on the needs of the marketing team and the interests of the intended audience
About you
1-2 years experience writing for marketing purposes
Graduate in journalism/marketing/relevant field
Research skills with the ability to synthesise information into clear, engaging, brand-aligned content
Agency and/or client/stakeholder experience
Collaborative and proactive when working with stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with task/work management tools
Experience with content management systems (CMS)
