Reporting to the Senior Contracts Lead, you will be utilising your procurement management expertise, where you will be involved in Watercare projects, responsible for contract formation and price and risk validation for feasibility, design and construction services.

A significant aspect of this role is negotiating cost savings with suppliers to ensure the best value for Watercare customers.

You will be a high achiever who enjoys a challenge, and has a proven background working in supply chain.

Your skills and background will include: A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, or business.

A solid background in contract / procurement management working in a large complex organisation.

A good understanding of commercial contract forms including CCCS, Framework Agreements, NZS3910 and NZS3916.

Experience sourcing contracts under NZS3910 /NZS3916/ CCCS/NEC3/FIDIC Experience in the preparation of management reports and approvals.

Strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
