Job Description:
Based in Alzenau, near Frankfurt in Germany, Hyundai Motorsport Gmb H is responsible for Hyundai’s global motorsport activities and primarily for its World Rally Championship program. We are currently looking for a Control & Simulation Engineer to join our team.

Assist in control software/physical model development and validation for a race car.
Develop and maintain HIL test systems - Software & Calibration.
Automate test cases on the HIL system.
Assist in HIL application and testing of control software and hardware.
Specify test cases based on requirements, system behaviour models, and robustness analysis.
Develop innovative solutions in model-based development for hybrid/alternative propulsion powertrains.
Manage version control and document results and models.

Qualifications:

Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in functional/physical model development, SIL/MIL/HIL testing, and application.
Good understanding of car and powertrain control (ICE and hybrid).
Strong knowledge of model-based controls with Matlab/Simulink, Engine Management Systems, and data analysis (Marelli or equivalent).
Good debugging skills in C.
Experience with HIL automatic testing using Simulink RT or similar tools.
Motorsport experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills; fluent English required, German is a plus.
Flexible working hours and task management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
